Well it happened! At the grand age of 37 with a 13 and a 10 year old already under my belt, the unexpected happened. The strip turned pink.

To say after years of trying and being told it would never happen that this was a shock would be an understatement. But it was of the best kind.

The pregnancy that followed had its usual ups and downs, I had a lot more scans this time around but that’s never a bad thing. Things had changed quite a lot from the last time.

We decided to find out this time as we already have two girls, and now it appeared we are going to have three!

So the decisions begin, this wasn’t my first time so I had a good idea of the things I would need. Starting with the pushchair, in my mind number 1 on the list as it is the object that gives you and baby you’re freedom. Much like your handbag it must be functional as well as stylish. There are so many to choose from, with so many different combinations. So where do you start?

Do I want lay flat from birth, or a carrycot? Which brand is the most reliable? Can I put my car seat on the chassis? What colour should choose? It’s a minefield!!

I’m lucky that its not my first time, I’d tried the lay flat pushchair and a carrycot option, so this time I decided to go for the complete travel system. Plus I had read that this is now the most recommended option. So after lots of trying, folding and arguing we found it the vehicle in which we will put our precious new bundle. The pushchair that fulfilled our wildest wishes but most importantly fit in the boot of our car 🙂

We chose the Tutti Bambini Riviera travel system.

One decision down, so many more to make…
